I have always hated these "describe yourself" sections.  There is not a whole lot to tell really.  I'm just an average "joe" that was born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania.  I guess that my writing started back in high school in Journalism class.  We were required to do "journals" and also  to do actual writing assignments such as reports or creative writing.  



This story that has finally made it to print has been a long time in coming.  I originally started this story way back in 1998 as a contest entry for Pocket Books when they were running a Star Trek Fan Fiction contest.  After I had written out most of the story...two things happened.  First off...the characters I created COULD NOT be used.  The stories had to be written with the "known" characters, not made up ones.  The second thing...I missed the deadline because I could not think of which currents to use.  So I presented my short story to a few  people that I chatted with on a daily basis in  one of many chat communities.  They all liked it and asked if I was planning on doing any others.  

​Thus began my writing journey.  



This story has actually gone through NUMEROUS revisions over the years and I think that I can not revise it anymore.  I do plan on continuing this series.  I currently have 3 or 4 more stories in the works as we speak.  I also have 4  short stories posted on different fanfic sites that I may just place into an anthology of sorts.  I have tried to combine elements of ALL science fiction into my "own little realm"...so to speak.



I currently am living in South Carolina with my wife Kim.  We currently have 5 dogs and 4 cats.
